Day 18: May 8, 2009

These photos were taken from an upstairs window in the house looking out on the backyard.  This Great Blue Heron was just chillin in some of our trees.  He, naturally, decided to start flying right after I lowered my shutter speed.  The flying pictures still look cool blurred though.  I just wish one of these days I could catch a frog jumping or bird flying with a high enough shutter speed to freeze the movement.  Going to Indianapolis tomorrow, so I should have some variety in my update tomorrow.
